As the Edmonton Oilers announce, all three players are now headed back to Edmonton. In addition to Gaëtan Haas (SC Bern), also Tyler Benson (GCK Lions, and Ryan McLeod (EV Zug) have thus played their final games in Switzerland.
While SC Bern is looking for an additional import-player to replace Gaëtan Haas, it is not yet clear if EV Zug is going to look around themselves. As their team manager Reto Kläy told Blick that it all comes down to their financial situation: "In principle, we cannot spend any money."
The GCK Lions, on the other hand, will be able to replace Tyler Benson with their Finnish forward Teemu Rautiainen, who has been recovering from a foot-injury he suffered during summer practice.
