With that, Pius Suter has become the second Blackhawks player to record a hat trick within his first six career NHL games since Art Somers who scored three goals in his fourth career game on November 21, 1929, the Hawks' social media team highlights.

Suter, on the first line with DeBrincat and Kane tonight, jumped on a rebound and fired it home to open the scoring in the 5th minute of play before notching his second tally of the first period potting in a feed from Mattias Janmark in front for a power-play goal in the 10th minute of play.

With seven minutes to go in the third period, Suter then buried a wrist shot from the circle to tally his third goal of the game and notch his first NHL career hat trick.

In addition to that, also his Swiss teammate Philipp Kurashev, on the second line with Dylan Strome and former HC Ambrì-Piotta import Dominik Kubalìk, managed to score his second goal of the season after following up a stopped shot and finally burying it in the 3rd period of the game.
