Sidelined with an upper-body injury for a month now, Gregory Hofmann is slowly but surely on his way back. As Zentralplus reports, he might be able to play a couple of games in the regular season before going into his final playoffs with EV Zug.
As the same source reports, it might well be that the 28-year-old will join the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets on a loan agreement as soon as EV Zug's season has come to an end. "Yes, that could become an option," team manager Reto Kläy confirms.
For the upcoming season, it is expected that Gregory Hofmann will definitely move to North America. As his contract with EV Zug is still valid for another two seasons, EVZ would be allowed to replace him with a fifth import-player.
