Overall, Josi recorded 113 goals and 321 assists throughout his NHL career (regular season). For his total of 434 points, the defender only needed 662 games. He is, therefore, faster to this landmark than Mark Streit who needed 786 games.

"It's a huge honor," Josi said to NHL.com. "Me and [Streit] are really good friends. He did so much for Swiss hockey because we never had a player that really made it in the NHL. We had a couple of goalies, but he was the first guy really who made it and had a big role on the team. He was a star in the League. For us as young kids, we all looked up to him, and he kind of gave us that belief that it's possible for Swiss players to make it."
