The general manager of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Jarmo Kekäläinen, has announced today the transaction that will free Gregory Hofmann from his contract with them. This will allow Hofmann to officially transfer to EV Zug.

In order to terminate Hofmann's contract, the franchise from Ohio has sent him through unconditional waivers.
