The Minnesota Wild lost their first-round series against the St. Louis Blues by 2-4.

The Wild already lost the game in the second period, as the Blues scored three unanswered goals, making it 4-0 after two periods. The Wild did not manage to come back from that deficit and they ended up losing the game 5-1.

Kevin Fiala's season is thus also over. The forward came off the best regular season in his career, recording 33 goals and 52 assists in 82 games. In the postseason, he recorded three assists in six games.
