David Pagnotta (The Fourth Period) and Elliotte Friedman (Sportsnet) also reported yesterday that the L.A. Kings had come to an agreement with the restricted free agent regarding a contract extension.

Fiala has signed a seven-year contract with an AAV (Average Annual Value) of $7.875 million. He will thus be part of the Kings' organization until the end of the 2028-29 season.
