Nino Niederreiter has been traded from the Nashville Predators to the Winnipeg Jets. A 2024 second-round pick is going the other way. The 30-year-old forward is still signed until 2024 with a salary of 4 million dollars against the cap.

In 56 games for Nashville this season, Niederreiter put up 18 goals and ten assists. That is good for fifth in points amongst the Predators.

Winnipeg currently sits in second place in the Central Division. They are only two points ahead of the Colorado Avalanche, who are in a Wildcard spot and have three games in hand.
