National Hockey League

With Zach Dalpe cut last night, the Minnesota Wild now meet the NHL's requirement for opening night, as they are now down to 23 players. Former SC Bern forward Christoph Bertschy is among those 23.

However, head coach Bruce Boudreau might adjust the roster after their game against the St. Louis Blues. General Manager Chuck Fletcher told the StarTribune that he asked Boudreau who he wants to play in St. Louis and then - depending on what the head coach wants - they will change the lineup again for the game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Should Bertschy get to play against the Blues, it would be his fourth career NHL game. Last season, the 22-year-old forward scored eleven goals and 24 assists in 72 games for the Iowa Wild.
