According to Berset, the agent of the 30-year-old Swiss goaltender has confirmed that negotiations with (an) undisclosed NHL team(s) are underway, but the final signature is still missing.
Gottéron announced the signing of Reto Berra at the beginning of April this year. Officially, his contract runs through to the 2019-20 season, reportedly including an NHL out-clause.
Last term, Berra suited up in seven NHL games for the Florida Panthers, posting a save percentage of .876. Moreover, he appeared in 31 games for their AHL-affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, in which he had a goal-against-average of 2.53 and a save percentage of .910.
