The 32-year-old forward is the Seelanders' leading scorer, having recorded 13 goals and 28 assists in 45 games for them. His departure would thus definitely signify a loss for EHC Biel. As of now, however, it is not yet clear where his future lies.
Philipp Wetzel is also at the end of his contract with EHCB. While he tells Moning that he cannot comment on his contractual situation at the moment, he also adds that he would like to stay with the Seelanders. The 32-year-old forward has put up three goals and nine assists in 47 games this season.
