In February, the KHL's Lokomotiv Yaroslavl released the 28-year-old American amid charges of sexual misconduct.

Reid Boucher plead guilty to third-degree sexual conduct against a minor last December. Back in 2011, the then 17-year-old forced a 12-year-old to perform sexual acts on him. Boucher was sentenced to four years of probation and one year of suspended jail time on February 1.

Since his release from Yaroslavl, he has been without a club. According to the Russian Sport-Express, he now has an offer from a non-Russian KHL team and, apparently, also a team from the National League has shown a "real interest" in the former NHL forward.

Up to his release in February, Reid Boucher appeared in 46 games for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl this season, in which he recorded 27 points (twelve goals).
