It is already clear that Red Bull Salzburg's current coach, Matt McIlvane, is going to leave the club after four years. He will coach in the AHL next season. As the Kronen Zeitung writes, Biel's Oliver David is being touted as McIlvane's successor in Salzburg.
Both David and McIlvane, however, will currently be fully focused on the here and now: David's EHC Biel leads the semifinal series against the ZSC Lions 3-0, and McIlvane's Red Bull Salzburg faces HCB Südtirol in the playoff final of the ICE Hockey League.
