As Christian Dubé confirmed to the Freiburger Nachrichten, Slovan's Canadian goalie Barry Brust is a candidate for the Dragons if he is actually available. Now, the Slovakian journalist Tomas Prokop reports that Slovan Bratislava might be interested in Fribourg's Czech forward Michal Řepík and suggests that a trade could be possible.
With Jonas Holøs, Roman Červenka, Michal Birner, and Michal Řepík, HC Fribourg-Gottéron currently has four import-players on their roster for the upcoming season. Because the 33-year-old Brust would take another import-spot and with the financial limits of the Dragons in mind, a trade might be an interesting solution for team manager Christian Dubé.
