Swiss National Team

Starting in the upcoming December, the Swiss national team will compete at the annual "NaturEnergie Challenge" in Visp.

The new tournament will be played in the Lonza Arena.

Behind the Spengler Cup, the "NaturEnergie Challenge" will be the second-biggest hockey tournament in the country and will be held in Visp's new Lonza Arena. Both Swiss Ice Hockey and EHC Visp are planning to host the tournament in Visp for a longer time, it says in an official statement.

"Together with Swiss Ice Hockey, we will do everything we can to create an attractive and popular tournament," EHC Visp's CEO Sébastien Pico says. In addition to the Swiss national team, three other nations are going to take part in the tournament, which will take place for the first time in the week of December 9, 2019.
