Marco Miranda to participate in the Deutschland Cup.

As reported earlier today, EV Zug's forward Jérôme Bachofner had to leave the camp of the Swiss national team due to a hand injury. Following this defection, head coach Patrick Fischer decided to call Genève-Servette HC's forward Marco Miranda in order to replace Bachofner.

So far in this season, Miranda, 21, scored two goals and put up two assists in 19 games with the Grenats. On average, he has been on the ice for 12:42 minutes per game. Miranda joined GSHC after two seasons with the ZSC Lions, with which he won the Swiss championship in 2018.
