The national team will begin with a back-to-back against Russia in Biel: the two games will take place in the Tissot Arena on April 30 and May 1. Three days later, on May 4, Switzerland will face Italy, again in Biel. Finally, somewhere in west Switzerland (place yet to be announced), the national team will play twice against France, on May 7 and May 8. The roster for the first set of friendly games will be announced next Friday.
The 2021 World Championship will begin on May 22 for Switzerland with their first game of the preliminary round, against the Czech Republic.
