As the SIHF announces, Tommy Albelin will remain assistant coach of the National Team until the end of the 2017-18 season. In addition, the Federation has hired sports psychologist Saul Miller.

Albelin has been working as Patrick Fischer's assistant coach since September 2016. The Swede, who played more than 1000 NHL games in his career, will continue to work for the SIHF at least until the end of the 2017-18 season. At the World Championship, the two coaches will be joined by Thierry Paterlini, head coach of the U18 National Team.

Moreover, the men's National Team will have the opportunity to work with American sports psychologist Saul Miller. The well-known psychologist and author has worked for several NLA teams before. He will work for the Federation until the 2018 World Championship.
