Swiss National Team

Switzerland's head coach Patrick Fischer has invited 24 players to take part in the first preparation week for the upcoming World Championships. With ZSC's goalie Niklas Schlegel, one newcomer joins the national team.

The Swiss will start their training camp in Kloten on April 5. Two days later, the team will travel to Cergy (FRA), where they are going to face France in two exhibition games.

All in all, the Swiss national team is set to play nine preparation games until Mai 2 (complete schedule can be found here), before the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Paris and Cologne will finally start on Mai 6.
