Will Nico Hischier make his national team debut at the IIHF Worlds or not? Raeto Raffainer, Director of National Teams, has a clear answer: "No, he won't". As Raffainer says, Hischier has played a lot of games over the course of the past season.
Although he believes that the 18-year-old would be able to adapt quickly and take the leap from the U18 to the national team, he has the well-being of Hischier in mind: "It would be too much for Hischier if he prolonged his season and played the World Championship for us."
