Today at 4 pm, the 2018 entry draft for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League will take place. Swiss-Canadian player, Théo Rochette, might be one of the selected players. But if it does not work out between Rochette and the team that drafts him, his father, former referee Stéphane Rochette, says that he would return to Switzerland for next season. There have been talks between him and HC La-Chaux-de-Fonds and according to Arcinfo, there is an oral agreement for a loan with Lausanne HC, but nothing is final yet.

In 43 games with Lausanne's Elite Juniors, Rochette recorded ten goals and 24 assists this past season. He also suited up ten times for Swiss junior national teams, recording four goals and six assists.
