Gross played on loan from EV Zug for the Osawa Generals (OHL) this past season. As their general manager Roger Hunt tells Brian McNair (DurhamRegion.com), they expect Nico Gross to return to their organization for the upcoming season. They will thus only make one pick in today's CHL Import Draft.

Gilian Kohler will also stay overseas for the time being. As he tells the Journal du Jura (relayed by SwissHabs), he will suit up for Kootenay Ice (WHL) again next season. The former EHC Biel prospect recorded eight goals and eleven assists in 55 games for them.
