HC Fribourg-Gottéron loses young forward to Canadian team

According to La Liberté, Julien Rod, the brother of Genève-Servette HC's Noah Rod, is set to leave for Canada on September 7. He will thus try his luck in the Canadian league next season.
Rod is a product of HC Fribourg-Gottéron's organization and even captained their U17 team last season. In 38 games, he recorded 26 goals and 14 assists. He also appeared in nine U20 games, scoring one goal.
