Each National League club will receive CHF 1.792 million next term (today: CHF 1.655 million), while each Swiss League club will get CHF 339,000.-, which is plus of 47.4% compared with the current season. The percentage distribution key has thus been increased in favor of the Swiss League clubs.
As it was already announced by the SIHF in mid-January 2016, the amount of CHF 155 million from the new TV rights deals with UPC and SRG that is planned to be paid out to the National- and Swiss League clubs over the period of five years will be increased progressively each year until a maximum is reached in the 2021-22 season.
