At the league meeting of the National League and the Swiss League clubs, the club representatives met to discuss, among other things, the match planning for the next season and the implementation of the flexible boards.

The ZSC Lions and Genève-Servette HC, as well as EHC Olten, the HCB Ticino Rockets and EHC Visp will receive flexible boards for the coming season. This means that only the GCK Lions will not have them. Due to the upcoming reconstruction of the artificial ice rink in Küsnacht, the deadline for the conversion to load-reducing boards was granted until the 2021-22 season at the latest.

A glance at the current season showed that stadium capacity utilisation in the National League continues to develop positively: four clubs (Zug, Lausanne, Berne, Langnau) have so far recorded a total capacity utilisation of over 95 percent in the current championship. Attendance numbers have also risen in the Swiss League, mainly thanks to EHC Kloten.

Finally, at the end of the meeting, Denis Vaucher, Director of the National League and the Swiss League, officially said farewell to Beat Kaufmann, who was applauded for his many years of involvement in the most diverse areas of Swiss Ice Hockey.
