Ex-HC Ambrì-Piotta forward Dominik Kubalík, who left the Biancoblù for the Chicago Blackhawks and the chance to play in the NHL, finished the past regular season on top of the National League's scorer list with 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists).

The 23-year-old Czech was closely followed by SC Bern's American import Mark Arcobello (21 goals, 32 assists) as well as former HC Lugano and future EV Zug forward Grégory Hofmann (30 goals, 21 assists), who are nominated for the MVP award, too.

The nominees of each award category as well as the final winners who will be announced at the 2019 Swiss Ice Hockey Awards in Bern on August 2 are selected by a panel of experts.
