Fedpol (Federal Office of Police) has released its annual report about safety and violent incidents surrounding football and hockey games in the highest Swiss leagues.

SRF has already evaluated this year's report. As the results show, the difference between hockey and football in terms of violence-related incidents is quite big. Whereas around 30 % of all football games are in categories 2 and 3, only 9% of all hockey games have been put into those categories.

All games have been evaluated and put in one of three categories. A game has either "no or few violent incidents" (green), "some violent incidents" (yellow), or "violent incidents of particular severity" (red).
