Of the available CHF 175 million in federal support for the Swiss professional and semi-professional sports world for 2021, up to CHF 115 million should be given out in à-fonds-perdu contributions. This has been proposed the Federal Council today. The parliament will now have to decide if they want to go through with it.

The amount of support a club can claim would be up to two-thirds of their lost income from ticketing, based on the 2018-19 season. However, there are certain conditions. Clubs have to lastingly cut the top salaries, waive dividends as well as be completely transparent with their usage of the provided money. They are also required to continue their work with juniors and women on at least the same level.
