On Saturday, June 26, Switzerland will carry out the next reopening step. The new rules also have an impact on large-scale events.

Events for over 10,000 people are possible again as of next Saturday. However, those will only be allowed if access to the events is limited to people with a COVID certificate (this is a way of documenting that you have been vaccinated for COVID-19, have had the disease, or have a negative test result).

Also, the event organizers have to present a protection plan to show how they will limit access to people with a COVID certificate. Furthermore, cantonal authorization is required for events over 1,000 people. If approved, events can take place at full capacity and without people having to wear masks.
