Marc Furrer announced at the National Leagues' assembly in June that he would step down as president of the SIHF's board of directors. Rindlisbacher will take over until they have found a successor for Furrer. They hope to present a new president as soon as possible, at the latest at the next general assembly in August 2018.

Furthermore, the league can also look back on a good financial year. While the actual profit is not as big (CHF 1,745), they were able to increase their revenue by CHF 4,1 million. This adds up to a total revenue of CHF 42 million. Their equity remains at CHF 2,6 million.
