SC Bern's players took home three trophies on Friday; Mark Arcobello was named "MVP of the regular season", Thomas Rüfenacht "MVP of the Playoffs", and Leonardo Genoni "Goaltender of the Year". The "Most Popular Player" was, to no one's surprise, HC Davos' Andres Ambühl. He now is a four-time winner of the award whose recipient is determined via fan voting.

The "Youngster of the Year" award went to HC Davos' goalie Gilles Senn. Lara Stalder received the "Woman of the Year" award for her integral part in the Olympic Qualification games of the Swiss Women's national team.

The "Hockey Award", which went to Tobias Wehrli last year, was handed to Nico Hischier. Furthermore, Simon Schenk was awarded the "Special Award" for his contribution to Swiss hockey. The 71-year-old had announced his retirement in December after he had spent 19 years with the ZSC Lions' organisation.

The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation was also handed a check over CHF 2,591,798 by the Sport-Toto-Gesellschaft. The money will be used for the various development programs of the SIHF.
