Among the North American skaters, Valentin Nussbaumer of the Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL) is ranked at the 72nd position, while Nando Eggenberger of the Oshawa Generals (OHL) sits at the 127th place. The two forwards are on this list because they play in a Canadian junior league. Jack Hughes (USA) tops this ranking, making him the favorite to be selected as first overall on June 21 in Vancouver.

Among the European skaters, Yannick Brüschweiler (forward, GCK Lions) is almost 40 positions ahead compared to the midseason ranking and is now at the 60th position. Janis Jérôme Moser (defenseman, EHC Biel) is now ranked 101st. Yves Stoffel (forward, EV Zug jun.) is 129th, while Axel Simic, who played in Lausanne this season, is ranked 133rd. Present in the midseason ranking was also Keijo Weibel (forward, SCL Tigers jun.), who, however, is now out of the final list.

Moreover, among the European goalkeepers, Davide Fadani is ranked at the 12th position. The Italian youngster plays for the Elite Juniors of HC Lugano.
