Former HCT player Mike Vaskivuo signs with ECHL team

Mike Vaskivuo has found a new team for the upcoming season. He has signed a one-year contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL.

The 31-year-old forward joined HC Thurgau in October 2016 from Vaasan Sport (Liiga) and played 34 games for them, scoring 24 goals and twelve assists. He also got the opportunity to play for HC Davos. In three playoff games for HCD, he recorded one goal and one assist.
