Asked whether he had played his last game for Genève-Servette HC yesterday, the 21-year-old forward only stated that he did not know. He has an agreement in place with GSHC for another four years but is more or less free to leave since he is technically playing on loan for GSHC from the San Jose Sharks.
Rod signed an entry-level deal with the NHL team last season and also joined the Barracuda last season after Genève-Servette HC was ousted from the playoffs.
