Originally, Garrett Roe was supposed to join the SCL Tigers for the upcoming season. However, due to family reasons, he has decided to stay in North America and thus leave Europe after ten years.

Roe played for Salzburg, München, Linköping, EV Zug, and the ZSC Lions. For the latter, he suited up for four seasons. Last season, he recorded four goals and ten assists in 31 regular-season games.
