Jonas Siegenthaler will join the Hershey Bears in the AHL for the rest of the season, the Bears' coach announced in a press conference.

"He is going to fly in on Monday," says Troy Mann, head coach of the Hershey Bears. Siegenthaler will, according to Mann, not immediately resume game action. He will be given some time to get accustomed to everything. The Bears are currently fighting for a playoff spot as they are in fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

Siegenthaler had already ended the last season in North America after being eliminated from the playoffs with the ZSC Lions. This season, the 19-year-old defender appeared in 34 games for the Lions and was able to put up one goal and six assists.
