Because his family still lives in Lugano it has been difficult to see them recently due to the pandemic. As a consequence, Linus Klasen wants to dissolve his contract with Luleå and move home, Expressen reports. Confronted by the Swedish newspaper, Klasen's agent and Luleå's assistant GM were both not willing to comment.

After his career, Linus Klasen plans to return to Switzerland and live in Lugano, where his children go to school. There is no word, however, if he will be looking for a new team in Switzerland or if he wants to hang up his skates at the age of 35.
