SC Bern has agreed to dissolve his contract. The forward has now signed a four-year deal Skellefteå AIK.

"We have been going back and forth all summer, so to have everything ready before everything starts feels great," Lindberg states. "Coming home has been on the table for a year or so. Me and the family have felt more and more that we want to live full time in Skellefteå so it feels great to come home."

Norran reported last week that Lindberg, SC Bern, and Skellefteå were finalizing the final details of Lindberg's return to the SHL team after having been away for ten years. Last season, Lindberg recorded 16 goals and 26 assists in 51 games for the Bears.
