According to a report from Sportsbladet, Brynäs IF's team manager Stefan Bengtzén has recently been in Switzerland, specifically, to scout HC Lugano's Swedish centers Toni Mårtensson and Patrik Zackrisson.

While Mårtensson's contract with the Bianconeri will expire at the end of this term, Zackrisson still has one more year to go. In October last year, however, the Blick had reported that HC Lugano is offering Zackrisson to other clubs.

Mårtensson (photo), 36, moved to the shores of lake Lugano from KHL's SKA St. Petersburg in 2015 and has managed to put up 13 goals and 20 assists in 52 games for them this term.

Zackrisson, on the other hand, joined the Bianconeri from SHL's Skellefteå AIK last summer. In 39 games for them ever since, the 29-year-old was able to score five 23 points (five goals, 16 assists).
