"We have met with Dick and asked him about how he sees things. We want [...] to know if we are an option at all," says the 56-year-old former NHL player. Furthermore, they also have an eye on Axelsson's recovery from the knee surgery he underwent earlier this season.
"We want to make sure he is one hundred percent recovered. But his rehab seems to have gone very well," says Loob. Färjestad is probably not the only SHL team interested in the 29-year-old forward, who scored one goal and one assist in the eight games he played this season. Thus it remains to be seen, for whom he will suit up in the upcoming season.
