As known outgoing from Lausanne, Martin Gernát will play in the KHL for the first time in his career. With Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, the 30-year-old has signed a one-year contract. Gernát will thus not join, as rumored, Extraliga's HC Oceláři Třinec.
