Three-year contract - Ville Peltonen is IFK Helsinki's new head coach

From 2016 until 2018, Ville Peltonen has worked as assistant coach for SC Bern before he took over Lausanne HC as head coach. A bit more than a year after being fired in Lausanne, he is now back in Finland with IFK Helsinki, for which he played from 2010 until 2014.

"This is my return home on many different levels," Peltonen says in a press release from his new club. "Helsinki is my and my family's home, and so is HIFK." Peltonen will take up the practice with the team on June 7, when the players return from their individual summer practice.
