Not confirmed for the 2023-24 season by their respective clubs, Tomi Karhunen (SC Bern) and Sami Lepistö (SCL Tigers) have reached an agreement with HIFK for a one-year contract. Karhunen already played one game with HIFK at the beginning of the past season, while Lepistö had only ever suited up for Jokerit Helsinki in the Liiga until now.
