After only one season in Switzerland, Rheault thus leaves Visp and joins the Redjackets of Klagenfurt, Austria. A return to Switzerland, however, is already scheduled: In October, EC-KAC will face the ZSC Lions in the preliminary round of the Champions Hockey League.

Over the course of the past season, the 30-year-old was only able to appear in 29 games (18 goals, 19 assists) for EHC Visp as he suffered an injury to his cervical spine in January. An injury which made it impossible for him to return to game action for the remainder of the season.
