Goran Bezina in practice with Medveščak Zagreb

Currently without a contract, the 37-year-old spends a part of the pre-season with his former team Medveščak Zagreb. He has, however, not signed a contract with the EBEL-team for which he suited up last season before he returned to Genève-Servette HC at the end of January.

Bezina is still looking for a new employer for the upcoming season. Le Matin reported in late July that HC Lugano might be interested in the defenseman. A return to Genève-Servette HC is apparently no longer an option, according to the Tribune de Genève. Due to Robert Mayer's injury, GSHC's finances do not allow a signing of the defender.
