The National League once again tops the European leagues in attendance, with SC Bern being the club with the most spectators.

With an average of 7074 visitors per game, a plus of 1.8 percent, the National League ranks first among the European leagues in attendance, the IIHF writes. The DEL follows in second place with 6523 fans, while the KHL sits in third (6486).

Club-wise, SC Bern is once again the top performer, averaging 16,237 spectators, followed by Russian-based SKA St. Petersburg (13,594) and three DEL-clubs (Kölner Haie, Eisbären Berlin and Adler Mannheim). The second Swiss team, the ZSC Lions, sit in ninth place with an average of 9349 fans.

It is to note that these numbers are not including the games held without spectators due to Covid-19.
