The general assembly of Hockey Europe took place in Belek during the IIHF Congress. Denis Vaucher was elected unanimously as the new president.
Hockey Europe is an association of the six most important European leagues (the KHL not included). The Champions Hockey League is also a part of Hockey Europe, albeit as an associated member.
