The Canadian forward James Sheppard, who suited up for EHC Kloten in the past two seasons, has found a new club: The Eisbären Berlin of the DEL.

Sheppard's new team informs that they have signed the 29-year-old to a one-year contract. The first-round pick of the Minnesota Wild of 2006 is expected to arrive in Berlin on July 23.

In his two seasons with EHC Kloten, James Sheppard appeared in 80 games in the National League A, in which he scored 19 goals and 27 assists.
