Berger sustained a shoulder injury in practice last week. He will undergo surgery and is expected to be out for about three months. As for Punnenovs, he is dealing with adductor problems. The Tigers' U20 goaltender Akira Schmid will thus join the first team for the duration of Punnenovs' absence.

Langnau will also not be able to count on Yannick Blaser for the next two weeks. The defenseman injured his MCL (medial collateral ligament) last weekend. Flurin Randegger is not feeling 100 percent either. He is questionable for the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup game as well as this weekend's games.
