While Mathieu Tschantré's (photo) and Dominik Diem's return to the Seelanders' lineup is imminent, Valentin Lüthi's ice time will be further increased, after he only had a few shifts in last Tuesday's Cup game following the recovery from his hip surgery.
EHC Biel, however, has lost two other players to injury. Defenseman Marco Maurer, suffering from a muscle injury, will be sidelined for two to three weeks. Forward Jan Neuenschwander (intra-articular ligament) is expected to return to game action in about four to six weeks.
Last but not least, as the club informs, Cédric Hächler's recovery from torn tendon in a finger surgery goes according to plan. The defenseman might hit the ice again in mid-October at the earliest.
